Why does the hold lid need removing?. I thought you just need to release the vacuum seal. So wouldn’t just unscrewing it and leaving. It sitting on top do the same job?.

Wouldn’t it get moisture inside the bottle if using a traditional bottle warmer if you remove the lid, teat, and collar?

Nothing happens if you heat a sealed bottle. The pressure can easily escape through the drinking hole.
