I saw someone say Ms. Jumbo and Disney kind of represent a mother trying to protect her disabled kid from a cruel world and now I can't unsee it. I guess they're saying Dumbo is kind of like a disabled kid, his big ears and everything. and Ms. Jumbo is just trying to protect him from the cruel world. and the fact she's labeled as a mad elephant simply because she had a mother's instinct to protect her baby. 😢
