I’ve been studying indigenous history (specifically the Choctaw) and they were matriarchal for thousands of years before the colonists came. They had a 12 group system, all head up by women elders, and it worked forever. I want to go back to that so much.

This is a colonization problem b/c I have learned many indigenious communities operated in a matriarch system and communal famiies. Many indigenious still live this way that have not been colonized.
