@lauraleesart: I have been blessed with being able to work on a project that I will forever hold near and dear to my heart. The work the Toba Center is doing is so important. The thoughtfulness and care put into all that they do, it is all through love, every person I met, even down to the finest detail is so intentional, with so much love and kindness and with the children’s well being always in mind. I am so immensely grateful for everyone I have met through the Toba Center, the staff, the volunteers, the artists, and their loved ones… it has been the most amazing and cathartic experience for my heart and soul truly. It was important to me to have been vulnerable and transparent with my creative process creating these pieces so I did share from my lived experiences. To stand in solidarity with the children so bravely walking into the safety of Toba Center and sharing their lived experiences. I’m so immensely grateful for my parents, my wonderful family and loved ones who have been my rocks and sounding stones always and who have held space for me and supported me always, love you. The deepest heart felt thank you to the Toba Center and to all the wonderful staff at the Graffiti arts programming I am in awe of you all and grateful to have had the opportunity to spend time with you all.
