I’ll use 20 volume with Demi for grey coverage when they’re sensitive but make it very clear that Demi is not for grey coverage and is more likely going to end up sheering out quicker or not sticking to greys

How am I defeating the purpose? I’ve been using 20 v with semi Wella for years- it’s fine. It covers my grays just fine.

Can I use 10 volume with permanent color? My hair is way more salt than pepper. I really like Wella Color Charm permanent color 10pa pearlescent blonde but I don’t want to lift the few dark hairs I have. Wella doesn’t make that color in a Demi.

My stylist uses 15 because 10 wasn't covering the stubborn gray with the demi. 😬

why ? you can lift with 20 vol if you need to bump a base or push out some unwanted tones
