Ok so my theory is this. In the books belly chops her hair before conrad and her actually see each other in person. And by that point, in the letter he writes that he heard her and benito were done and that she cut her hair short. So my theory is that a few weeks had lapsed since she wrote the postcard. Belly will get sketched out about meeting his parents/family and break things off. Conrad will find her in Paris. She’ll show him around the city. Not sure what after that but another time jump to wedding?
