It's a real thing. It's called propioperception. The cues in your propioperception messes with the cues from your vestibular input and can make you feel high. I'm a sped teacher, this is my game.

I wonder if this is the equivalent to me falling asleep while getting tattoos. I don't know if I'm the only person that feels like this but tattoos make me feel relaxed and soothed they don't even hurt that much. I get into like the Zen mode and get so relaxed when I'm getting them I've fallen asleep quite a few times while getting tatted.
