I didnt agree with any of his political views and I’m sure we could have had a civil conversation on our disagreements has he did with many, but I didn’t think he was a bad person. And I’m saddened by this horrific incident that took place. Gun violence has to end, and it starts with people in congress to start banning assault weapons.

I don’t condone the loss of life, and it is always heartbreaking when someone is taken by violence. But I can’t help remembering that Charlie Kirk once said, ‘Gun deaths are worth it to keep the Second Amendment.’ My heart aches for his family, just as it aches for the families who send their children to school and never see them come home. Where is the same outrage, the same urgency, for our children?!When do we decide that enough is enough?! Every life, no matter who it is, deserves safety from gun violence!
