I once had a horrible waitress who didn’t come to check on us for like 20 minutes after our food came say “Geeze…I guess you were hungry “ as she approached the table. Mind you-it was an early dinner special that was half the size of a regular portion and it was the first time I’d had eaten that day around 5pm. Let’s just say she got a little education on what NOT to say to people at her tables. I was so mad.

I had this happen to me at 12 years old and started a two decade long eating disorder. People are so mean. I’m so incredibly sorry 🥺🥺🥺 we need to do better as a society.

We were out to eat one very busy night. Everything I planned on ordering was out. I get easily flustered and finally just ordered this random steak. Apparently it’s a big steak. The waiter said, “Oh my. Big girl has an appetite.” Crushed me. I think of this every time I order something now.
