No you are absolutely not right, crying because a family just lost a father and a husband. Is very different from crying over a Charlie Kirk’s death. He was a bad person but he was still human. And even though I, as many others don’t a agree with his views. Feeling sympathy for someone’s grief does not have a political basis.

maybe i’m not woke enough that i can’t sympathise for an evil man who admitted that if his daughter got graped and pregnant from it he would then force his kid to give birth. Like are we forgetting everything horrible this man wanted to do and agreed with.

my only issue with this man's death is going to make him a martyr. Am I surprised? no, am I scared of things getting worse and conservative people using his death as justification for more hate and violence towards marginalised people? yes.

He was crying for his children and wife who watched it hapoen. And regardless of political bias if you are not disturbed by someone dying there is something wrong with you. Not everything is a political statement some are just testament to being human.

dude, dean KNEW this guy. i know a lot of people who are horrible people, but if one of them died in such a tragic way like that i would find it extremely hard to grapple with too. he has debated him and has been in close proximity to him multiple times. even if you don’t like someone, their death can still affect you. yes charlie kirk is a monster, we don’t have to celebrate him but can we just stop and think about the small children who have lost a father, regardless of how awful he was there are children who don’t have their dad anymore
