I don’t think anyone is celebrating it. We’re choosing not to honor him and that’s what bothers yall. His choice, his beliefs, fine. But I choose not to honor anyone in death whose hateful rhetoric has targeted specific groups.

It’s not a difference of opinion. This is not coke vs Pepsi. He called for violence against TONS of marginalized communities, even going so far as to say that their deaths would be worth it for the world he wanted. Calling wyte supremacy a “difference of opinion” is so wildly privileged. I hope you feel this level of outrage about all the children who were killed just like he was and use your platform to speak on it. He shared his belief that white people are better than all others and deserve more rights. Tell me that’s not violence and then go look up the definition. No one is celebrating. I just don’t have empathy for someone who called for the deaths of so many people I love.

Dana, I’m struggling w you. I’ve liked your content and Im esp sorry to see anyone lose their life unnecessarily. For many years, ppl (husbands, mothers, young &old) hv lost their lives simply for their skin color ONLY and not even bc they had a differing belief. Unfortunately,this is not new, yet very sad. Some chose not to honor a man in death who had a vile belief of other humans in life. You need balance in this perspective. 💜
