@preschoolvibes: How I teach colors + shapes at the start (pre-K 4–5) 🎨🔺 We do a Color + Shape of the Day together—e.g., Green Day 🟩: we wear green, take a class pic, and name “typically green” items with picture cards. Shape focus = oval: “a flat circle,” no edges, egg-shaped. I add today’s card to the carpet pile and we speed-review the stack daily. At tables: big shape + mini punch-outs → glue minis around the big. We use shape beanbags for a quick review song, and at the door it’s the Color High Five—press, say the color and one matching object, high five. Simple, consistent, and it sticks.#Inverted
