note for anyone going to the police for stalking: if you're a minority of any kind (POC, disabled, queer, a woman) ABSOLUTELY use the phrase "aggravated stalking" or "criminal menacing" as these are much more serious to the cops than just "stalking" alone.

i had a stalker at my job (in the uk) and the police refused to do anything.. so thankful i have supportive coworkers and managers who removed me off of shopfloor when he came and eventually banned him after he started following me worse

I’ve had customers flirt with me a few times but there was only once where I genuinely feared for my well being. He gave me his business card and whenever someone mentions the name I tense every time 😭
