I completely understand where you’re coming from but as someone that worked multiple positions with the post office, they’re not going to reimburse them what they paid unless you put insurance on the package.

Use UPS for shipping problem solved, I haven’t had any issues with UPS but USPS?? Horrible!

Unfortunately bank chargebacks are so quick and easy to do vs contacting usps and them opening up an investigation etc, will make it almost impossible for customers to do the right thing 😩

I had a piece of lost mail with money in it. Filed a claim with USPS and got it back. Took 3 months though. 😬

usps purposefully makes it hard for people to file with them. there's no transparency in their process and it is extremely unreliable. I feel as though the business can also file the loss with USPS and get paid back.

If the delivery says “in/at mailbox” they cannot dispute that. They have to take it up with usps. So please dispute the charge back every time it is a delivery like this. Because it is impossible for it to be stolen

yess! my job uses USPS & UPS as 3rd party, and patients constantly call our company for their missing items. I ask the stores if they reached out to them and the answer is always no 🤦🏽♀️it’s literally the 3rd parties responsibility to get ppl their mail!!

Why would the customer go to the post office? You were the one who posted it to the customer. The customer comes to you then you go to the post office.

I think it should be the businesses responsibility to file the claim with usps. When you ship an item you put insurance on the shipping not buyer.
