I think Kristen Stewart was at fault for ruining the character. She wanted to be an Indy artistic performer and she incorporated that into Bella Swan. She wanted it to be something it wasn’t!

The movies were so terrible…they just threw together an all star cast with no chemistry or understanding of the characters just to quickly maximize on the popularity of the books. The hype was for those movies was way too dramatic and unnecessary because those movies should’ve been waaayyyyy better casted and scripted.
