I still don't believe it was right. his kids were there. his wife was there. so many people were there. it is not right. I understand why you would feel this way but honestly nobody deserves to die due to politics. this whole situation is absolutely disgusting. I'll admit he has said so many disturbing and disgusting things. But just think about the perspective of the children and the wife. at the end of the day he was a father and a husband and this will severely affect his family's life. Whatever is in the afterlife I hope he is rightfully judged before the universe. I don't really know what to say now because there's so many different emotions about this.

It’s not justice though! Violence is never justice ! Also just because we have been doing things wrong forever and the wrong thing works. That means it’s ok to say “ oh well let’s just keep doing the wrong thing because it’s easier”. It’s fine if you don’t feel bad for him and I don’t really feel bad for him personally. But it’s not ok what happened! You could switch it out with any other person this could happen to and it’s still wrong ! The reason pacifism isn’t “realistic” is because the majority aren’t doing anything to make it the reality, pacifism isn’t a magical fantasy spell that is outside of reality. It’s just something that needs to be worked towards and practiced . Violence is never ok or justified. Sometimes it may become necessary in a self defense situation. But it’s still wrong and not ok. Necessary doesn’t equal ok! Also being privileged or not doesn’t matter when it comes to being a pacifist ! Anyone can have these values . It’s a mindset/opinion .

it being the neck was very karmic and I can't stop thinking about it because that was his weapon of choice. I do wish we could all be peaceful woodland happy people but the world we live in is a pressure cooker of oppression. just spent my whole last therapy session talking about all the sides and pov but all in all me being happy that one of the loudest voices of oppression is gone is rooted in the love of the communities that he was dead set on harming. he woke up every day and chose violence on marginalized groups. I feel for the people at the event that got traumatized and his family having to witness it but none for him he chose to speak and incite violence constantly. its wild times all around

Did I hate Charlie Kirk? Absolutely. Was he an awful human being? Yes. But I cannot and will not condone gun violence. He deserved karma, we deserved justice (we being everyone he spread hatred towards), but I cannot be an advocate against gun violence if I’m making exceptions for people I hated.
