Gun violence has personally affected my family in such a deep way. I’ve already been feeling very triggered lately because the ONLY way I can take to the theatre right now is the way that passes the parking lot my cousin died in after being gunned down and the anniversary is coming. Our family chooses to walk the block every year in his honor raising awareness that gun violence IS a problem.

and that’s why people turn to religion… to form their belief system. They can’t handle the uncertainty of forming their own thoughts and opinions. Especially when it involves comparing their own privilege to those who don’t have any.
