😭😭😭 Hey mama I wanted to share my thoughts on your question about whether Christianity is one of the most persecuted religions. I personally believe it is, and here’s why.
Reports show that over 380 million Christians worldwide face high levels of persecution or discrimination for their faith (Open Doors World Watch List 2025). In fact, according to Pew Research, Christians experienced harassment in 160 different countries in 2021 — more than any other religious group at the time. That’s a huge global spread.
It’s not just harassment but also real violence: in 2025, there were 7,600+ attacks on churches and Christian properties and nearly 5,000 Christians killed in one year, many in Nigeria and other parts of Africa. Thousands more were arrested or imprisoned without trial simply for following Christ.
This isn’t limited to one region — persecution is happening in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and even parts of Latin America. Some places are dangerous for converts, while others quietly suppress Christian gatherings or punish people for owning a Bible.
Of course, Christians aren’t the only ones facing persecution, but the evidence shows that Christianity is definitely among the most persecuted faiths in the world — both in terms of numbers and severity. That’s why I feel so strongly about it.
