“And if you look out the windows to the left you can see the Nepal citizens actively overthrowing their government, if we’re lucky they might wave at us”

Update🇳🇵: We got our new government reformed. We fought yesterday and won our game. The leading corrupted parties fall forever and we just got first women prime minister in the history of Nepal. She's bold, strong and determined in her bold and justified action.

I love that every passenger of that bus knows that they're safe despite the chaos, this reflects well on the youth of Nepal

I had a similar thing happen to me and my family in 2012 in Bahrain. There was a lot of fighting in the streets during the spring and when us idiots in the minivan accidentally turned down a street they were fighting on, both sides stopped and pulled the debris out of the road so we could pass, waved at us, then went right back to fighting as soon as they knew we were safe. Very surreal experience and so different than what happens in the USA.

The way they're taking the time to make tourists feel safe in the middle of the fiery revolution makes me think we might make it out of this

Protesting and revolting done with compassion. No injuries, no fear, no stopping everyday people or public transits… could learn a lot from these people.
