Listen I was a marine who deployed on a meu, I lived on the Bataan for a bit. I had to do 1 month of like “ship duty” I got lucky and landed in the officer mess. I specifically got to work in the area where the commander of the meu and the ship ate, they 100% have different and better food made for them. Also I had to WAIT on them like a waiter while they ate, literally refilled their glasses with water and tea. The only commanders that didn’t like being waited on were the MEU commander and the BLT commander, the ship X.O also never let any one wait on him which I thought was cool.
