It’s the way they handle it that is the problem. They shouldn’t boot people who are already seated off the plane. If they over booked it should be first come first serve. Simple as that.

If it's only 50,000 a year, then that's impressive. Since there are that many poeple or more in the air at any second of the day.

Revenue? If the flight is sold out, and people don't show up, so what? It costs them less because the plane is lighter.
