Bayangkan satu kandang sapi bisa menghasilkan susu, pupuk, sekaligus biogas untuk memasak. Bahkan, dalam setahun Santoso, 50, warga Bulukerto, Wonogiri, hanya perlu membeli dua tabung gas 3 kilogram. Berawal pada 2018, saat bekerja sebagai mantri kesehatan hewan, Santoso prihatin melihat banyak pedet mati karena kekurangan susu. Ia kemudian mulai beternak sapi perah untuk membantu menyediakan susu bagi pedet. Usahanya berkembang dan ia mengajak anak-anak muda di desanya ikut beternak. Kini, Komunitas Mulia Sentosa Sapi Perah beranggotakan 10 peternak muda berusia 20–23 tahun dengan total 55 ekor sapi. Sebanyak 25 sapi produktif menghasilkan sekitar 400–450 liter susu per hari. Tak ada yang terbuang. Kotoran sapi diolah menjadi pupuk organik dan biogas yang dimanfaatkan untuk memasak di rumah.
