look Bruce. you probably do need to take some time away. Charlie Kirk's murder was awful and I feel for his loved ones. no one should have to go through that. with that said, it's really not earth shattering in the way you describe. where was your righteous indignation when 2 democratic senators were murdered by right wing extremists? tragically the politics of the west are so polarised it makes these sorts of events almost inevitable. Kirk has said some awful things, in my opinion and he shouldn't be held up as some sort of saint, but he didn't deserve to be killed. I hope the perpetrators are quickly brought to justice. until our politics can be less extreme at both ends of the spectrum I fear things will only get worse.
