BIM is not a software. It is a concept. If revit, archicad, etc… are “obsolete” then the softwares you mentioned could be integrated within this concept.

BIM is the worst thing that ever happened to the industry—at least in architecture. It limited architects to using the tool to make cheap boxes, and it was only properly used in big firms. Now, goodbye BIM. And as for Revit—the worst modeling software—of course it was invented by Autodesk, a company that doesn’t innovate
