Princess Serenity was always meant to have that silverish/white hair. Usagi however was always meant to be blond as she is a modern day version of Serenity. The silver hair would make her stand out 😂 There’s a lot of lore when it comes to Sailor Moon if you search deep enough.

Sanzu being blond makes me SO MAD. I was so mad when I realized the blonde was him. I complained the entire time to my husband who hasn't read the Manga. I hope they fix it next season. or im gonna flip. lol.

This version of Seto Kaiba comes from Yu-Gi-Oh Season 0 that is more faithful to the start of the manga. But it was scrapped and they started it all over again with the Seto we now know, with brown hair. Not everyone knows about the green-haired Kaiba 😊

For older anime I strongly suspect they would change the hair colors to pop out more on the tvs. The other reason is that some of them got adapted before the authors ever drew the characters in color so they had to guess.

Biggest difference is S(h)uichi Minamino aka Kurama from Yu Yu Hakusho. He has black hair in the manga and bright red hair in the anime. It was the result of 1 misprinted poster that became SUPER popular.

to me at least for Bulma I feel like for the type of personality she has she would be the type to actually dye her hair, maybe they can make it canon that she dyed it purple and green growing up but now that she's older she rocks her natural blue hair lol

Natsume in Natsume Yuujinchou has silver hair in the manga. The anime changed it to beige blond. Annoys the shit out of me. They changed his eyes too. 😔
