What you were hearing are plastic rollers that are not turning that’s the sound replaced the rollers never ever ever lubricate a torsion spring

I like to separate the coils , so they never bind or need grease ..

also, NEVER use lithium grease. . . it turns into lithium paste once dust gets introduced.

that door isn't balanced properly. the strut is in the wrong place. the door is missing 2 struts aswell. the motor isn't adjusted properly. this entire door is DIY install and it isn't correct.

I just take mine off and dip them in hot roofing tar, then spray them with super glue.
