Yes going through some counties in Texas and go out of your way to find that lone charging station to get between Dallas and that destination like many places you are on dirt roads or count roads

I won't buy an EV because of the lack of range, and the not so convenient long charging times and trying to find a spot to charge on road trips because the infrastructure is still just not there,t it has gotten a lot better, but still not there yet

I take long drives often. I have to stop to charge about every 4 hours. It takes about 20min and I use thay time to get snacks and have a bathroom break and stretch my legs. Sure it adds more time, but I feel better at the end of my drive.

I agree that was on my mind when I first bought one, and then I stepped on the accelerator and I suddenly didn’t care about anything else. And now that I have one, I will never go back

My EV is the best car I’ve ever owned hands down (I’ve owned 20 cars) and now o can use Tesla chargers so it’s no big deal

When the range hits 500 miles comfortably I'll get one as a family car. But I'll still have an HD pickup and my classic cars.

The few times I've had to charge away from home, I've been able to use super chargé stations and they take no time at all. But there is a lack of information and experience around EVs. So it makes sense people will be apprehensive.

Love my hybrid. 50 miles to the gallon. Under 5 minutes to stop and pump $25 in gas and I’ve got another 500 miles of range. New generation hybrid, so I still get 50mpg going 70mph on the interstate all day.

I didn’t buy one cause I was worried about where to charge it around here. I live in rural Arkansas. I also thought about the set up cost to charge it at home. I ended up going with a hybrid because of this. Maybe next car I get will be EV.

US lacks the infrastructure, in China there are fast chargers and battery swap stations everywhere. It will need fed and state to do major investment but not gonna happen in US

800v architecture is a thing and has sub 15 min 10-80% charging. It’s expensive and the US will never invest in the infrastructure.

Love my EV but if I couldn’t charge at home I might not want one. I had free charging at Electrify America for 3 years and the charging experience there was abysmal.
