According to the victim, the relationship became toxic once he wanted to cut things off with her and escalated one night when she allegedly lured him to a police station parking lot. ____________ The man, who was in his own relationship at the time, says he tried to de-escalate the encounter by backing away with his hands up after Clark attempted to embrace him. A physical struggle followed, during which he claims Clark reached for her service weapon. ____________ He recalls turning his back to walk away when Clark allegedly opened fire, striking him twice. As he attempted to flee in his car, she allegedly pursued him, firing additional rounds through his window. One bullet severed his brachial artery, leaving him critically wounded. _____________ Doctors say it took ten hours of surgery, multiple transfusions, and a coma before the victim stabilized. He now faces months of painful rehabilitation. Meanwhile, records show Clark has been terminated from the department but not criminally charged. However the victim has been charged with assault on an officer!
