It’s been just over 24 hours since Charlie Kirk’s tragic shooting, and Republicans are already racing to brand every Democrat as violent. Every liberal suddenly painted as a threat. That narrative isn’t new — it’s the same old projection they’ve relied on for years. Because right when they’re accusing Democrats of aggression, I’m seeing trucks on the road with tailgate decals showing Joe Biden bound and gagged in the back. And the one I saw wasn’t even new. It was sun-stained and faded, proof that this violent fantasy has been proudly displayed for a long time. This isn’t a one-off outburst. It’s something they’ve carried with them, day in and day out, until the weather itself wore it down. Tell me again which side is really violent? Because I’ve never seen a Democrat rolling through town with a decal of Donald Trump hogtied in their trunk. That’s not liberal behavior. That’s not a left-wing fantasy. That’s their side projecting their own violent impulses onto their opponents, while making sure everyone on the highway can see it. And that’s the real hypocrisy. They shout about “violent Democrats” while openly fantasizing about kidnapping and gagging their opponents — and normalizing it with decals, slogans, and propaganda that’s been rotting on their trucks for years.
