It took me ages to get used to my son going out when I first had him, and I’d be messaging and worrying thinking I should be there 24/7 but now he’s nearly three ( and I’ve had his sister) and you get used to it over time! Yes I still have anxiety if he stops out or I don’t hear from the person who has him but it’s normal and you need you time x

you feel like youve left a limb at home at first it just feels like somethings missing and you'll think about him all the time but over time it gets easy to leave them and you'll start to enjoy having you time

The fact you have anxiety shows you care - it’s such a hard thing to do but I promise once you’ve done it it will feel better and you appreciate them couple of hours to just have a bit of you time 💕 sending lots of love hope all goes okay xxx

Im a first time mum and I was 17 turning 18 when I left my daughter with my partner sister and it was so scary but it was the best to have your own time but it just show how much you will miss them

I’m 17 and my baby is nearly 10 weeks old. My sister is taking me to a concert for my 18th birthday in November and my mum is going to be looking after him for a few hours. I’m glad I’m not alone in feeling like this. I trust my mum so much but I’m terrified

I was like it as a first time mum. Wouldn’t let anyone have my baby, I was so anxious too until I ended up having my 2nd baby at 28 weeks pregnant when my firstborn was 8 months old so I had to and you slowly get used to it! Now it’s a welcome break x
