I did the opposite…. One time a kid let go of his end of a fully stretched out slinky and it smacked me in the hand. Hard. I wrapped it up the next day and told him the doctor thought it was fractured. We had a good rapport, and I only let him think it for like a half hour, so it was hilarious. 😂
