@themistermortgage: My 9/11 Story. A dark day in our country’s history. Never Forget. 🙏 I was 25 years old on September 11, 2001. Today, I’m 49. It’s hard to grasp how many years have passed since that morning—years I’ve been blessed to live while so many others were not given that chance. Every September, I find myself waking up and replaying the hours of that day. The shock, the fear, the grief—it’s all etched in my memory as though it happened yesterday. For myself and many others, this will always be a season of reflection. I carry a deep sense of gratitude for my life, one that words can’t fully capture. I know there’s a reason I am here, and I don’t take it for granted. To all the brave responders, first on the scene and those who have carried the weight of that day ever since—thank you. Your courage, sacrifice, and selflessness will never be forgotten. This is my story. This is my memory. And this is my reminder to you: take time to remember those we lost, honor the heroes, and hold their families in your heart. More than ever… NEVER FORGET. 🙏
