My bff cousin was in the lobby and trying to leave. Cops were manning the doors telling people they weren’t allowed to leave or they’d be arrested “bc there was falling debris” . She teamed up with another guy and barged past the cops to escape. Moments later the building came down

Regardless if they stayed where they were, went up, tried to go down, it ends the same way. Nobody above the impact zone in the north tower made it out. All the staircases were impassable. It’s really easy for everyone to judge the operators, but in that moment that’s what they thought was best. Stay put and wait for firefighters. Nobody knew the towers would collapse.

There was lady who’s boss told her don’t leave or you will be fired she said she said she ran out because she had a eerie feeling something bad would happen even though she had no idea it was plane her boss ended up dying while she lived

I work for the state i live in. We had an active shooter scare once, everyone was fine, it was sort of a misunderstanding.. but the complete choas that ensued... I cant even imagine this scale of panic and I hope no never have to.
