In my state, if it hangs over on to your property, you can cut it back as long as you don’t harm the tree. Cut them!

I'm not 100% sure but that also looks like a Tree of Heaven tree which is an invasive species in the u.s

I’m about to buy a house. How does one take care of a tree? I thought it’s in the ground, you good. Do you just have to trim it up?

It’s so unfair that in this country we have to deal with this. People should be required to care for their landscaping. I have a similar issue and our hands are tied.

I paid $1000 last month to trim the neighbor’s trees that were hanging over the fence into my yard. It was 10 years worth of growth.😩

I was really upset when I learned that my neighbors’ tree is super poisonous to children and dogs and it hangs over our porch. It was a trendy tree to plant back in the 60’s, but nobody plants it anymore. Since I learned this, I just cut my the branches to the property line. I don’t ask permission and I don’t discuss it with them. If it dies, because it’s super lopsided now, they can take me to court.

Just playing devils advocate. This happened to us but we were on the other side and the guy was mad but we had no clue what it even looked like from that side. Lol. We only know what we can see. His side might be fine. lol

Had to get an entire new shed because my back neighbors tree fell and destroyed it. Homeowner insurance would cover after$1500 😭 sheds are like $600 max lol

My neighbor doesn't maintain her tree. she waits for dead branches to fall (high up). It has broken my siding and roof on my shed. I pick up the branches and shove them over the fence. im not chain sawing her branches and toting them to the front.

So my neighbor who literally only mows his yard every month and a half decided to come over with the land survey after I replaced these rotting landscape timbers. I pulled a timber, placed edging bricks. Now he has an issue because “that wasn’t the correct placing.” I’ve been here 6 years and he didn’t have an issue with the previous owner who installed these? He’s redoing according to the correct line. 🤷🏻♀️but it wasn’t an issue for the 34 years before I moved in.
