90% of the times is not the artist it’s live nation. The company has monplized it all by owning the venue the websites and trapped a lot of artist in horrible contracts that leave them in debt. This was why artists like frank ocean left there label

I totally agree with this! But I also wish that people who can’t afford concert Tickets would stop risking their finances to see an artist who doesn’t care about anything but money. It’s not worth it. Support artist who care about their fans 💔

it's really not that hard for them to turn off dynamic pricing and make resellers have to resell for the original price. idk why they don't seem to care.

Its not even just resale because these big tours all have dynamic pricing turned on. I saw people saying the nosebleeds for gaga were $900

it’s unfortunately the live nation monopoly. and a specific big pop girl artist (who i won’t name so im not attacked) that pushed for crazier prices and everything & everyone following suit. prices & resellers are currently insane and are hopefully moving towards the bubble bursting

that's what I've been saying. like all my friends wonder how I get tickets so cheap and I tell them it's because the artists I like have been fighting the resellers doing all kinds of things to detour them and it's working

The artist definitely has a say in it. I've been to shows from The cure & jack white and they put Ticketmaster to test. there's no resellers.

they get the money for the sales so they don't care tbh. thats all the industry is anymore; money. they could not care less if we get priced out bc there are always people that will pay the reseller prices.
