once I had to tell a parent that having respect and discipline has nothing to do with a disability. When they grow up, it won't be a "disability", it will be a crime. Police does not stop and read their IEP. Se quedo callada la señora.

Yes!! I parent this way as well. I have 2 kids, one of them being autistic, and I raised them the same way. Ive had to tweak a few things but yes they had to go by the same rules.
