You made a really interesting connection between Kirk and Marat. In his writings, Marat often called for harsh measures against “enemies of the revolution”, including aristocrats, clergy, and counter-revolutionaries. He openly endorsed executions, sometimes endorsed violence which helped stir fears that he was inciting mob rule. Kirk was also famous for Similar rhetoric. Both individuals are very much into propaganda for their parties and they both had grotesque endings. Once again good stuff, sir.
