Family friend: her husband’s parents NEVER argued in front of the kids. To the point where ff & husband had their first argument in their marriage and he thought they were going to get divorced bc he never saw conflict/conflict resolution.

I think Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard said if they bicker in front of the kids and make up later, they’ll re-make up in front of their kids so that they can model apologizing/taking accountability for them

my parents never argued or disagreed in front of us, and consequently never modeled apologies or healthy dialogue/disagreement and now I'm completely conflict intolerant and a recovering people pleaser 🙃 what y'all are doing is awesome and so important!! i hope to model this type of parenting with my children

This is so good, pretending that arguments don’t happen for the sake of the kids is insane. Showing them that disagreements happen but we work it out is so healthy. This is of course assuming that the arguments are not abusive
