I'm in engineering in poly so the culture shock was when I came to poly n I thought it was gna be easy or a breeze and whole my friends r living out their lives it's hell here 😭😭 some subj we learn, even my jc friends H2 subj don't go that much in depth

if you did a comms > biz pipeline like me, hang in there! i’m uni y4 now and tbh once you get through the core mods and do your spec, you’ll enjoy it a lot more!!!

went through the same experience! definitely struggled with the same mods, but if u ever need help u can always ask your seniors and definitely search up for notes online!! it helps and it gets better~ jiayous

I suffered in polytechnic. couldn't do the theory stuff I wanted well but in uni I thrive in such situations but yea studying w friends, having a whole day booked and everyone locking in is very true

You can approach your snrs for notes (though the profs always discourages). You'll also get used to this life as you progress to y2, you'll have to priortise which is more important (modules, time, friends, cca, etc), just 2cents because i used to struggle and almost dropped out. You'll turn out fine!! Trust the process

just graduated this year! an advice i always give freshmen is to really have fun in your first year, go for events and just go socialise, it will be one of your core memories over the 4 years!! y1 is the best time to have fun because modules are less heavy and easier than y3-y4
