Timothy Clark was murdered on July 13, 2007. That evening, Timothy was walking to the store with a friend named Damien Holloway. Damien had been staying with Timothy's family because he was in a bad relationship and had nowhere else to go. The store was right around the corner from the house. Timothy and Damien bought snacks for that night and the next day. Timothy also bought his mother an apple pie because he knew she liked them. On the walk home, they were ambushed. The two were ordered to their knees. Timothy was shot execution-style in the back of his head and died instantly. Damien was shot through his neck, with the bullet severing his spine. He died two days later. Timothy's family managed to raise a $3,000 reward for anyone with information that lead to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible. More than a year later, on September 17, 2008, police charged Gerald Drummond, 24, and Robert McDowell, 26, with murder, conspiracy, and weapons charges. The only connection that could be made between the killers and the victims is that Gerald Drummond's sister was Damien's girlfriend, and she had recently given birth to their child. According to witnesses, Drummond, who is white, didn't like that Damien, who was black, had a baby daughter with his sister. Drummond and McDowell were held without bail because they were charged with a capital offense. Timothy was murdered simply because he was with Damien, who was the primary target. The case went to trial at the end of November 2010. On December 20, 2010, Drummond and McDowell were found guilty of first degree murder. The following month, the jury deadlocked on the death penalty, thereby forcing the judge to impose life sentences by default. The full sentence was two consecutive life terms for each killer, in addition to 15- to 30-year sentences for each in connection with their convictions on weapons offenses and conspiracy. Timothy was 15 years old. #famous #famouspeople #famousgraves #famousgrave #graveyard
