I think what makes BTS special is that they all have that passion for music, each individually (their styles are so different!) but also together. And that they genuinely get along well. A lot of groups (to me) give me the feeling that they either don't really like to work with each other or are more interested in "being an idol" than the one thing that makes you an idol: good music. That's what makes BTS different to me. I'm so happy they make new content now and that Namjoon also still sees that spark 🩷 #thanksforcomingtomytedtalk

No he’s so right. They are unique and special. They wouldn’t be as successful if they weren’t. People follow them for so many reasons. They are just able to connect with their fans so intimately. It makes you feel like they are more than just your idols but a comforting friend. Their music is not one dimensional like other groups. They have songs that cater to most music genres. They are so inclusive that it doesn’t matter who you are how old you are or where you come from. We all connect thru BTS and that’s special.

a lot of people are saying they are human and authentic which I do agree on but they also put consistent effort into what they do. Whenever they get tired of something they try to do something else or put a new twist to it to keep themselves passionate about that they produce instead of serving us half asked things

Well, BTS has always been a lot more realistic than other groups, when you become an army you'll get used to that feeling of being connected to your artist, it's more of a family type of feelings that's never truly describable. It's like they don't see your faults or bad things you think of yourself, they give a certain security that it's okay, it'll be alright. it's your first life and mistakes happen. They don't even hide their own mistakes which gives us a sense of ease to feel we are human and so are they. It's human nature to make mistakes and it's okay.
