LOVE September camping. Went to Killbear the first week of September once and we were the only ones in the park who weren't snowbirds - we had the entire beach to ourselves!

I don’t know if this is an issue in North America BUT surprisingly often here in Australia this is caused by BIRDS, not Humans, rifling through the trash. 🤗🤗🤗

I pick up litter all the time. Usually along a lovely dirt road where healthy people hike -and toss their water bottles. Makes me crazy.

The only reason my husband is allowed to wear cargo shorts is because he picks up garbage and cans wherever he sees them and stuffs it all in his pockets until he can dispose/recycle properly. Now my kid does the same. Parents set the example.
