"close to the sun" bro do you know how far the sun is from the earth? that shits farther than the moon, and if you take a ping pong ball, call it the earth, and take a small paper ball, call that the moon, you would need to put both of those on opposite sides of a mansion yard to accurately depict how far they are. also yes it's normal planes go that high all the time, and you won't lose gravity and fly into space because the earths gravity will pull something towards it even if it's farther than the moon
