They put those sign after this dude wen viral. plus u driving 40mph you cannnot just stop and do U-turn this will cause serious accidents. They made this change after 20years when everyone got used it . No warning nothing about the change

They should send a warning letter for a first offence and then if you do it again then you’d receive a fine. It would show that the council isn’t interested in making money from it and no one would have a problem.

like you say there need to be simple signage have you got a campaign you can present to the local council to get this change - it's not going to be quick as I am sure the local council don't wanted to be listing 2k in fines now 🤣🤣🤣
