@humanebroward: Meet Swiper, a 2-year-old ferret who somehow ended up in someone’s backyard before finding his way to us 🥺   He’s super sweet, friendly, and playful, and when he’s not zooming around exploring, he loves to curl up for a nap 💙🩵   Ferrets like Swiper make amazing companions, but it’s important to know they do require very specific care. 🙌They need a safe, ferret-proofed home (these little escape artists can get into everything!), a high-protein meat-based diet, and several hours of supervised playtime each day. Regular vet visits and enrichment like tunnels, toys, and cozy spots to sleep are also essential to keeping them happy and healthy. ☺️   Swiper has such a fun, loving personality, and he’s ready to bring lots of joy to a family who understands the unique needs of having a ferret as part of their home. 🥹🙏   To adopt Swiper, please complete a pre-adoption application on our website at www.humanebroward.com and come in to meet him. The shelter is located at 2070 Griffin Road, Fort Lauderdale and the adoption department opens daily at 11 a.m., seven days a week.
