These chemicals mimic estrogen in the body and alter hormone signaling, a risk factor for breast, prostate, and other hormonally driven cancers. Even “BPA-free” plastics aren’t necessarily safe, many contain similar substitutes that show comparable estrogenic activity in lab studies. Simple swaps make a big difference.
