That pull on your heart is Him. That unknown pull to understand and answers, is Him. When I look for direction I cling to Proverbs but I would start in Mark/Luke/Acts and then invite the Holy Spirit to speak to you. His word is active and living it’s how He talks to us 🫶

I was in a pit of darkness and self destruction. The second I called to Him, He sent people to me that nurtured my growth with Him. Then He removed people from my table, isolated me so I depended on Him and He shaped me. I started to feel when I sinned and repented. I was glowing. I was thriving. Jesus came to me in physical form while I was walking to my car alone on Christmas Eve after I took myself to dinner and I was feeling lonely. He was disguised as a homeless man. When we locked eyes on the sidewalk, I knew who it was and I started running towards him and He opened His arms, motioned for me to come and wrapped His arms around me and rocked me like a child. He looked in my eyes and smiled so big and told me so many things that I needed to hear, but without moving His lips. We just read eachothers eyes. I felt so much love in that moment that I forgot who I was and where I was. No cars on the street, the ocean stopped making noise, the seagulls were silent. Time stopped. I just wanted to be with Him and not do anything else. His eyes were like glaciers and his teeth so white. He looked like every race wrapped up in one. I can’t explain it. He was so strong. After I got to my car, I felt the world again and I missed Him. And I realized that I spent my entire life chasing that feeling that I just had with Him. I was so overwhelmed with emotion I was sobbing on the way home, but a happy sob. He changed my heart. He broke my chains. I got baptized and all of my family and extended family followed. Nothing on this earth will satisfy your heart, but having a relationship with Him. All Glory to God. Praise King Jesus ❤

I’ve seen SO MANY posts of people saying they have bought a Bible and want to know what to do now. Here’s my advice for new Bible readers: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John are an excellent place to start. Here you’ll find first hand accounts from the disciples that walked with Jesus while He was on Earth, the teachings of Jesus, and His death and resurrection. Romans walks through salvation. Ephesians gives great insight on the Christian life. Start by reading. If you have questions as you read jot them down and go to a pastor or trusted friend and begin talking through them together. You aren’t going to understand everything all at once and that’s ok! The most important tip I can give you is to pray before you even read a word. Ask God to broaden your understanding and send the Holy Spirit to teach you.

Start with a small prayer. Ask the Lord and the Holy Spirit to guide you and reveal His truths to you as your read. Start with John and then the rest of the Gospels. They introduce you to our Savior Jesus Christ! God bless you!

Seek and Him, and you will find Him. His word is in your hands so open it up and read. Ask Him to give you understanding of His word and to give you a repentant heart. HE WILL ANSWER! He will set your soul free and your life WILL BE CHANGED. A new creation! It is nothing you can work for, it’s a free gift of salvation. We all have a longing in our hearts-It’s a missing relationship with God-sin separates us from God, Jesus paid the ultimate fine on the cross, he died, defeated death, rose three days later, and was seen by hundreds! repent, surrender your life to Him, and put your faith in Him. Continue to seek God daily in prayer, reading his word, and joining a bible believing church. God will guide along the way. His Holy Spirit that dwells in you is your helper!

The very fact that we recognize evil proves there must be a standard of good. If there were no God, then “right” and “wrong” would just be opinions. But deep down, our hearts know better. 💡 God has written His law on our hearts (Romans 2:15).
