I had to pack my car with my kids and all that I could fit. For safety! Found out everything I left was either broken, thrown away or picked through by his family. So much I lost that was mine & my kids. Goes to show how much he truly cared for what was “ours.” Destroyed everything. Literally

Just leave his things! Tell your lawyer to tell his lawyer that he has 2 weeks to get them out or they will go in the rubbish. This way you’re not going to get in trouble for ruining his stuff.

I would get your stuff separated from his! Go through what you can take. And donate the rest to a crisis center and see if the can pick up. What’s leftover through it in the trash just like he did to your marriage

It is not a mental health issue past you needing to take care of you. Mine did the same thing, and then squatted at my sister’s for six months swearing he’d work in our marriage, and we were all worried about him, meanwhile he was on dating sites and going out with other women while letting us all trying to help him through his “crisis”, he is now appealing the divorce judgement, for a divorce he wanted.😏

I would question why he left those important and sentimental items behind. It looks to me like a mental health concern. Legally, you can’t throw his things away he has established residency with you whether he pays the mortgage or not it’s still his home until you legally evict him
