There are actually studies on this which has shown that women have lower metabolic rates which leads to lower body temperature as well as women having more receptors in their skin making them sensitive to cold, plus that they have more fat under their skin which acts as insulation against the heat. There are a few other factors but those are a few of them this could likely also be a reason as to why they take hotter showers

Nah, it's estrogen, which increases cold sensitivity. I love super scalding showers since I started taking it, despite remaining tall.
