@sophia.esperanzaa: What are some intentions for your home? 💭 I find the work of Louis Cheskin & others researching the psychological impact of color, FASCINATING. In a time where the modern builds/rented spaces we dwell in are becoming largely white/grey/facility-like … devoid of color & character…maybe that piece of colorful art we hang up is doing more than decorating the space. It’s nourishing our psyche. We are a colorful people & I love to see this revival of creativity, spark & uniqueness be reclaimed in both private & public spaces. Through the use of color, texture & imagination. Building things with our hands is giving us a boost in many departments. If we’re feeling stressed; productive labor gives us accomplishment & helps move energy through- simultaneously. We instill confidence within ourselves, when we’ve achieved something by hand - seeing something from beginning to completion. We’re built to build & it makes us feel Alive. It’s also brought me & @petricej closer together, finding connection through team work. Nestling into our home, making amendments & learning the space - has been magical in every way. Through the home/land - we’ve remembered more of who we are & what we’re here to do. Our Faith. We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to steward a space & it steward us in the process.
